Felixstowe Port | Maintenance Contract Award

Technotrack Engineering (TTE) are pleased to announce the award of a three-year maintenance contract at Port of Felixstowe, commencing in June 2024.

This contract further strengthens TTE’s role in supporting the safe and reliable operation of rail infrastructure within one of the UK’s busiest container ports.

Asset Maintenance Scope

Under the agreement, TTE’s experienced maintenance team are responsible for a wide range of signalling, telecoms, and associated assets across the port estate, including:

• 3 ends of points
• 6 signals
• 1 track circuit
• 6 location cases
• 1 REB
• 2 AWS units
• 2 lineside telephones
• 1 bridleway crossing telephone
• 1 North Quay control telephone
• 4 trackside signs
• 2 level crossings
• 1 signal panel
• Points Heating Assets

The contract also includes responsibility for critical points heating infrastructure, comprising:

• 15 point ends
• 15 x 5kVA transformers
• 3 kiosks with associated equipment

Ongoing Support

Through this contract, TTE continue to provide planned maintenance, fault response, and technical support to ensure operational resilience and safety across the port’s rail network.
