C3R Stage 2 & CSIE Commissioning
From 2022 through to 2025, Technotrack Engineering (TTE) have continually supplied experienced signalling personnel in support of the C3R Stage 2 and CSIE commissioning programme, delivered in partnership with Alstom. Throughout the project, TTE have provided a full range of qualified IRSE-certified signaling staff, including:
Project Complexity This project has presented significant challenges, not only due to its scale, covering 32 route miles, but also because of the ongoing development and implementation of the new SmartLock interlocking system. This programme has seen the complete replacement of the legacy SSI system, which had been in operation since 1984, marking a major modernisation of the railway infrastructure. Signal Box & Systems Installation In parallel with the extensive trackside works, Technotrack's Systems Installation Team have worked tirelessly within the signal boxes, delivering what effectively became a project in its own right. This included:
The level of skill, coordination, and dedication shown by the systems teams was critical to the programme’s success. Without their expertise within the signal boxes and their ability to deliver within an extremely compressed timeframe, completion of the installation would not have been possible.
